ABOUT FANG

Fang Wang has been studying and practicing Chinese medicine and acupuncture for more than 20 years. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine/Acupuncture from Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. During her studies, she trained under professor Zhang Jin, who is listed by UNESCO as a Representative lineage Holder of Acupuncture & Moxibustion of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Fang is a registered traditional Chinese medicine practitioner and registered acupuncturist in Ontario. She is also a professor who has been teaching Acupuncture and Cosmetic Acupuncture courses at the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine since 2009.

As an experienced Chinese medicine/acupuncture practitioner, Fang tries her best to help her patients achieve a physical, mental, and emotional balance which may strengthen their immunity, improve their digestive system, calm their mind, reduce stress, and facilitate better sleep.  Fang has educated and guided patients with PMS, menopause, infertility, and depression. She has used acupuncture and herbs to treat thousands of patients for allergies, insomnia, headaches, sciatica, joint pain, and other chronic conditions.

Fang also studied medical esthetics and obtained a diploma from Edith Serei, the Canadian School of Advanced Esthetics in 2000. Since then, Fang has been offering patients a unique approach to cosmetic acupuncture which combines traditional Chinese medicine and western esthetics. The National Post, Fashion magazine, the CBC, NOW, and Flare magazine have all reported on it. Fang combines cosmetic acupuncture techniques and Chinese herbs to treat many types of skin conditions such as prematurely aging skin, acne, eczema, cellulite and uneven skin tone.

Fang continues to enjoy studying Chinese medicine. Every year, she goes back to China to study and practice with Chinese medicine masters.  She believes that is the best way to learn, feel, and touch the roots of Chinese medicine.
